Adrenaline Rush: XV Crosstrek Run Subaru of America, Inc. and Nordica USA have teamed up to launch snowsports season with the XV Crosstrek Run. Free skiers Luke "Lupe" Hagearty and Liam McKinley travel around the country hitting ski slopes and events in the all-new Subaru 2013 XV Crosstrek. Twenty year-old Hagearty is the featured skier and twenty one-year-old McKinley films the runs. Students from Champlain College in Burlington, VT edit and produce McKinley's exciting footage for the world to enjoy online. In our newest commercial, an overprotective dad faces the moment every parent dreads: Sending his child on that first bus ride to school.

Using an inverter, two strings of LED lights, and a few zip ties, my 2010 Subaru Forester has been decorated for the Christmas seasons of 2010, 2011, 2012. I get so many smiles, comments, and thumbs up while driving; especially at red lights. When the Christmas season gets so busy and people are FRAZZLED, it is great to see people reacting. It really looks great lit in a snow storm. During airports runs, my family members and friends flying in find me right away in the long lines of cars waiting at Arrivals!

I took my new 2012 Impreza Sport Premium up to Roan Mountain to see all the magical powder. The drive up there was beautiful. Around every curve, the car never lost control and always went straight and true. It held all my gear with room to spare and made it to the top of the mountain, passing 4X4 trucks in the ditch. When we returned from our hike, the heated seats were the warmest of welcomes. The difficult mountain driving even returned 35 mpg! I honestly couldn't ask for a better car. It is an extension of me and my love of all things winter. Till death do us part.
