A Comforting Companion

Meet Charlotte, my 70-pound rescue dog from Georgia, pictured in the back of my Subaru Forester. I adopted Charlotte in November of 2007 at the age of one. She was a mere 47 pounds when I first met her at my rescue group in northern Connecticut. I was immediately smitten! That face! Since then, she has grown into a beautiful, loving and loyal member of our family. She is calm and friendly and loves children and other dogs. She is my constant companion and a very special part of my life, offering comfort and joy, and asking for nothing in return except my love. I am devoted to Charlotte’s well-being as she has been there for me through thick and thin in the many years that I have owned her. I would never think of getting another dog unless it was through a rescue organization. Charlotte loves to ride in my Forester!
