Our little girl, Penny, is a Boykin Spaniel that was a breeder for nine years. I have no idea how many litters she produced, but I'm sure it was many. We found her through a Boykin rescue organization and drove from Little Rock, Arkansas to Birmingham, Alabama, where we linked up with Penny's foster. Penny has become a sweetheart of a girl-kin, and it hasn't taken her long to assimilate into a spoiled life. She celebrated her 11th birthday in February of 2018. She and our 5-year-old Boykin-Springer mix are inseparable. Life is good when you have a little brown dog in it.
