Introduced at the New York International Auto Show in April, the 2011 WRX has the WRX STI's wide-body design – another step in its continuous evolution.
At the same show, Subaru introduced the 2011 WRX STI Sedan – the first time the WRX STI is offered in two body styles (Sedan and 5-door).

Subaru presents three Impreza models for 2011, plus Special Edition Packages. The Impreza 2.5i models are available in two body styles – Sedan and 5-door. (Read a product preview of the 2011 Impreza WRX and WRX STI models in Subaru Drive Performance Version 7.2, which mails at the end of July 2010.
All Impreza models incorporate Subaru Core Technology such as the 2.5-liter single overhead camshaft SUBARU BOXER engine with the i-Active Valve Lift System, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, and Vehicle Dynamics Control system. Among the many chassis systems that contribute to safety and help make Impreza such a tremendous value are its Anti-lock Braking System, Brake Assist, incline start assist (on models with manual transmission), and Electronic Brake-force Distribution system.
Inside, every model has a full complement of passive safety restraints. Along with overall vehicle design, they contribute to Impreza being named an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick1 for three years running.
Plus, Impreza has a long list of features that improve comfort and convenience. Comfort features include AM/FM stereo audio system with single-disc CD player and MP3/WMA capability, four speakers, and XM®2/SIRIUS®3 Satellite Radio capability. Air conditioning, six cup holders, 60/40- split flat-folding rear seatback, and more make travel enjoyable.
Subaru differentiates Outback Sport, which is the Impreza version of its larger namesake, from Impreza 2.5i models. The Outback Sport has standard 17-inch rather than 16-inch wheels, raised suspension, fog lights, roof carrier base, front and rear bumper under guards, two-tone body color, cargo tray, and All-Weather Package.
