Subaru of America (SOA) connects with current and prospective Subaru customers by reaching them through events, activities, and causes that fuel their passions. Sponsorships provide consumers with opportunities to interact with the Subaru brand and Subaru vehicles in a personalized way that isn’t possible through mass mediums.

A multi-year partnership between Subaru of America and Michael Epstein Sports Productions, Inc. (MESP), has made Subaru the presenting sponsor of the Merrell Down & Dirty National Mud Run Series. The series consists of nine events in major cities around the United States (calendar at www.downanddirtymudrun.com).
Mud-run athletes compete in 5k and 10k runs through off-road, muddy courses with military-type obstacles. The runs raise funds for Operation Gratitude, which sends individual care packages containing snacks, entertainment items, and personal appreciation letters to U.S. service members who are deployed overseas.

In partnership with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Subaru has donated science books to four schools in the Washington, D.C., area following the AAAS annual meeting held February 18-20. The books were those that won the Subaru/AAAS Science Book and Film “2011 Excellence in Science Books Awards.”
Subaru has partnered with the AAAS for nine years, and together they have provided scholarships as well as opportunities for women in the science fields.
