SAVING MONEY AT THE GAS PUMP

Routine maintenance is one way to help improve fuel economy. You can achieve better gas mileage with:

  • Proper tire pressure
  • Clean motor oil and filter
  • Clean air filter
  • Use of cruise control
  • Tightened gas caps
  • Removal of excess weight from the vehicle
  • Reduced idling
  • Less aggressive starts and stops
  •

AIR FILTERS

To burn a gallon of fuel, a vehicle’s engine needs approximately 10,000 gallons of air. Air filters in the intake system trap contaminants in the air that can cause damage to internal engine parts and ultimately reduce performance and the life of your vehicle. Contaminants include dust, dirt, and other debris. Change your air filter regularly.
