My husband and I RV camp at state parks in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. We tow our Subaru Forester behind our 35-foot Winnebago. We call it the baby Subaru, as we also have an Outback. The Forester has a manual transmission for easy towing – and connection to the motorhome takes 10 minutes or less. We previously had a smaller car, but found that after arriving at our vacation destination, sightseeing and shopping were difficult. So we bought the Forester. Now we have plenty of room and taking passengers is a lot more pleasant. At our age – I'll just say over 60 – this is our version of adventurous camping.
