Holiday Lights at Shore Acres celebrated its 25th year in 2011. Friends of Shore Acres members David and Shirley Bridgham have guided all phases of the event since its inception. The Bridghams do not shy away from technological advances, and thousands of visitors come back year after year to see the changes.
This is not a drive-through experience. Give yourself at least two hours to savor the sights and sounds of the gardens, the seasonal treats in the Garden House, and, if you arrive before dusk, be sure to hike out to the enclosed interpretive center on the bluff.
- Daily winter hours: until 9:30 p.m.
- Parking: a modest $5.00
